Plastic is Petroleum

Hi Friends,

The way  we are screwing up the environment and the planet concerns me deeply. It pains me when I think that every breath we take is filling our lungs with poison, when vegetables we eat may be toxic due to pesticides or that we are killing our marine life in our oceans due to indiscriminately throwing plastic into it !

How did we reach here?
How do we solve this crisis?

I have taken up the cause of reducing one- time-use plastic
like
thin carry bags
plastic straws, or
plastic cutlery

Will keep you posted on my efforts and also with more information about plastics!
In the meantime

Use cloth bags.
  Don’t use straws or plastic cutlery!
